COURSE POLICIES:
Please take a moment to review our policies:
PAYMENT POLICIES: Payment is due at time of registration.
REGISTRATION POLICIES: You will not be registered until full payment is made.
CERTIFICATION POLICIES: This is a 10 hour course including breaks, you will need to complete the full 10 hour course and receive a passing mark of %76 or higher to receive your certificate.
CANCELLATION POLICIES: Cancellations must be confirmed 7 days prior to course date to receive a partial refund of $120. Cancellations confirmed 72 hours in advance are subject to a $80 administration fee. Any cancellation within 48 hours of the registered course or nonattendance are not eligible to receive a refund.
REFUNDS & TRANSFERS: PayPal refunds are subject to a $6 processing fee. Course fees expire 12 months from the date of purchase and are not eligible for refund. You may choose to transfer to another course date within the 12 month time period. Registration is transferable to a family member, a friend etc.
DOG POLICIES: (If applicable)
Proof of current vaccinations or titre test documents must be presented 72 hours prior to scheduled course.
Due to space and class size there is a limited number of dogs accepted, they will be accepted in order of registration.
Dogs are ONLY welcome if they are registered.
Cats are not able to attend due to the excitement of the dogs and/or environment.
Dogs attending Life Tracks Pet First Aid Training must be obedient, calm and social with people and other dogs.
Dogs must be securely leashed during the course.
You are solely responsible for your dog, if your dog causes any damages or injuries to another person, animal or object you will be held fully responsible.
We reserve the right if your dog is found unsuitable or disruptive to dismiss he/she from the course.
SAFETY POLICIES:
With the importance of everyone’s health in mind, our Pet First Aid Training has safety practices and policies in place to ensure all of our participants are safe and feel comfortable during the course.
Stations and equipment are fully sanitized prior to arrival and include:
- Personal dog and or cat stuffed (toy) animal for bandaging practical’s.
- First aid basket, including all the materials necessary for the course.
- Walks āNā Wags Pet First Aid manual, pocket manual and window decal (take home).
Manikins used for CPR/AR skills are fully sanitized and plastic lungs are replaced after each use.
Live dogs are welcome if registered. Please bring their clean blanket or mat and water dish. Doggie snacks and water are provided.
In the event you are exhibiting ANY signs of illness, or are in the process of self-isolation for any reason please do not attend class. You may reschedule at a later time. If I ( your Instructor) am feeling unwell, the course will be postponed.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
What to bring with you to the course:
A pen/pencil/highlighter and writing paper.
While we do supply snacks and beverages for the breaks, there will be a 45 minute break for a larger meal. Feel free to bring a lunch or dine locally.
If your dog is joining us, please bring: clean leash, blanket/small bed, toy and water dish. Water and snacks are provided.
Wear comfortable clothing
